If you had $65,000 dollars in the bank what would you do with it? How about purchasing a Hermès Birkin bag? You can probably call a Hermès handbag “the mother of all handbags” because its exclusivity. Even though you have money, doesn’t mean the bag can be shipped to you the next day. You have to be on the waiting list which is allegedly over two years! The waiting list for Birkin opens only twice a year. (so make friends with a Hermès Sales Associate!) Hermès produces the handbags in their Paris workshop roughly 5 handbags per week. Generally, the price of a Birkin bag starts at approximately $6,000, depending upon the materials (exotic leathers, encrusted with diamonds, etc) the price can reach 5- and sometimes 6-digit figures. The red Crocodile Birkin in the picture cost around $65,000!
